  • Step 1: Visit Our School

    Bringing Country to You:
    • Complete an inquiry form and our Admission Team will contact you to schedule a conversation or a personalized, grade-specific, virtual presentation.

  • Step 2: Apply Online

    Online Application
    Rolling Admission: We are now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year based on space availability.
  • Step 3: Schedule a Student Visit

    PreSchool and PreKindergarten applicants spend 60 minutes interacting with peers and teachers. 

    Kindergarten applicants visit 60 minutes in a PreKindergarten classroom.

    First through eighth-grade applicants spend a full school day in their current grade and are interviewed by a member of the Educational Leadership Team.

  • Step 4: Additional Application Requirements

    • Standardized test results are required for students entering grades 5 - 8.
    • Acceptable tests include: ISEE, state mastery assessments, ERB, and SSAT.
    • Once enrolled, students may also be asked to complete a placement assessment.

    Prospective students interested in taking the ISEE or SSAT, may register online at or The Country School school offers the exams on campus at designated times throughout the year. This year we are offering the SSAT on November 14, 2020, and December 12, 2020, and the ISEE on November 21, 2020.

    The Country School admits students without regard to interest in financial assistance.
  • Step 5: Admissions Notification

    Enrollment contracts are due two weeks after notification of admission decision.
