Parents Are Partners
At The Country School, parents are partners in the education of their children. We encourage dialogue between home and school and invite parents to become involved in the life of the school.
Parents have always held an important role at The Country School. Founded six decades ago by parents who wished to see their children reach their full potential, the school continues to rely on parent volunteers to help carry out our mission. Parents serve on the Board of Trustees, as members and leaders of the Parent Teacher Association, and as Room Parents. They help teachers with classroom activities and visit classrooms to share professional and personal expertise. They serve on committees, lead tours during Admission visits, and volunteer at special events such as Grandparents and Special Friends' Day.
