Primary School Teachers: Because of growth in enrollment, The Country School seeks as many as three reflective, collaborative teachers to begin in September 2019, working with talented students in self-contained classrooms from Kindergarten through 3rd Grade. Successful finalists will enjoy working in partnership with parents and other teachers, will be effective with technology integration, reading and writing workshop and word study, differentiated math instruction, and will thrive on professional growth and innovation. Experience with Responsive Classroom, STEAM or STEM, and knowledge and experience using a variety of assessments for planning and instruction are all preferred. The Country School is a PreSchool-Grade 8, coeducational day school serving 17 towns and some 215 students in southern Connecticut.
