Varsity Baseball defeats Hopkins 4-0

The baseball team got a solid victory in a 4-0 win at Hopkins. This was a very competitive game with continual action from start to finish. Will P. started the game for us, going 2 innings, striking out 4 and giving up only 1 hit. He even got a 1-2-3 inning in the 2nd. Gabe came in to relieve Will, and did a great job getting out of a bases-loaded jam. Charlie O. finished the game on the mound, getting 3 quick outs to solidify the win. Our defense was very strong behind our pitchers, and we did not commit an error the whole game. At the plate, everyone got on base, which is an amazing feat. We got 7 hits as a team from Charlie O., Will, Liam, Matthew, Gabe, and Charlie S.  Our 5th graders, Kyle, Oliver, Andrew, and Edward, did a great job working the count–each of them earned a walk. As a whole, this was a team win, and everyone should walk away proud of their performance.
