Girls' Varsity Soccer 4-0 win vs Foote

Had Charlotte L, TCS’ new goalie, known that TCS was going to dominate Foote’s territory in Thursday’s game, she might have been able to relax in her job as goalkeeper. Thoughtful, skilled defensive plays by Lillian C and Claire M, helped protect this special territory. Throughout the game, TCS’ offense dominated Foote’s territory and they did not like it. Even with aggressive maneuvers by the opposition, goals were scored. Halfway through the first half, Caitlin S made a textbook pass to Veronica S, lighting the scoreboard up with a 1-0 lead. Closing out the first half, the second goal was all Quinn F. 

You’d think after a little rest, Country would be scoring as soon as they entered the field in the second half, but Foote was ready for a fight. After thirteen minutes of battle and six attempts on goal, Veronica made a pass to Caitlin that secured goal number three for the Owls. If that wasn’t exciting enough, with two seconds left in the game, Caitlin made a single side shot on the goal, ending the game at 4-0.
