Varsity B Boys Defeats Foote 30-16

The Varsity B Boys won a well-played game against Foote 30-16. While we got to a bit of a slow start, we ramped up the energy in the 2nd half, stymying Foote’s offense and making a lot of fast break layups. Our passing and rebounding were stellar, allowing six different players to score. Will led with 13 points, followed by Connor with 8 points, Liam with 3, and Charlie O., Keve, and Charlie S. each scoring 2. We were behind 8-6 after the 1st quarter, but a great 2nd quarter got us to an 18-12 halftime lead. Our defense stepped it up in the 2nd half, allowing only 4 points. This, along with a scoring run early in the 4th quarter, let us put the game away. The players should be proud of their resilience and their improving fundamentals, both of which are creating great results. We have a quick turnaround with a home game next Tuesday (2/14) against IDS, where we hope to keep up this positive momentum.
