"The interest, enthusiasm, and excellent play continue"

Coach Wallack
The Panthers came to visit the Owls and it was anything but a perfect day for Ultimate with gale warnings in effect. We played 15 minutes over the time limit but could not quite get to 15. We did however win by a score of 14-3, giving up two first half goals and only one in the second period.

Catching and throwing were difficult in the strong gusty winds, but Milo was able to convert 6 passes into scores, once again leading the team in assists. Sam in his first game appearance looked sharp and was aptly nicknamed the contortionist by Coach Merrill for a crazy good catch in the end zone (where the majority of us would have certainly strained something, if we were able to pretzel our body to move like he did) and he concluded his day with three assists and two scores. Joining him with braces as well were Maddy, Spencer, and Anna. We also saw assists from Henry, Liam, Jack, and Chris. Getting into the end zone for one tally each were a handful of others including; Liam, Milo, Jake, Natalie, Chris, and Jack.

The interest, enthusiasm, and excellent play continue- hope you all can catch a game or two before seasons end! We have noticed quite a few of you on campus and down in Stonington. Thank you, it means a lot to the athletes!
