TCS loses to IDS 25-18

The 5th Grade JV Boys lost to IDS 25-18. The boys put up a good fight in this game, keeping the game close despite an early deficit. Our offense took some time to get into a rhythm, but we played tough defense the whole game, and took some great shots that just didn’t fall. Luke led the team with 7 points, followed by Aydin (5 points), Will (4), and Connor (2). Clark and Mike got some big rebounds for us to prevent IDS from second-chance points. Adrien and Oscar also made a defensive impact by keeping IDS’s offense at bay. The team showed a lot of hustle until the end, and cheered each other on the whole stretch. What was especially impressive is that we outscored IDS in the second half, which means that the team’s positive mindset paid off. We look forward to building on this in our next game, also against IDS, on Thursday, Feb. 5.
