Last game of the season - saying goodbye to the 8th graders!

Kristen Gunther
For our final game of the season, we traveled to IDS expecting a B-team matchup but were met with a very strong and fast opponent. Their speed on offense put our defense to the test, but our team rose to the challenge with grit and teamwork.
Despite the loss, the energy on the field was incredible. Quinn and Caitlin each scored impressive goals, and Sam was phenomenal in goal—facing relentless pressure but staying focused and fearless. We also made sure every 8th grader got in the game, which made the day feel extra special and sentimental.
It was a coed game, and the boys did a great job subbing in and defending against tough competition.
Coach Adkins and I are so proud of how far this team has come—from learning new positions to growing together as a unit. You’ve all shown heart, sportsmanship, and teamwork every step of the way. Soccer may be over for now, but you—and coaching—will truly be missed!
