Girls soccer posts another win!

Kristen Gunther
Wednesday’s matchup against Hamden Hall was one of our most exciting—and physical—games of the season! Hamden Hall came out aggressive, pushing hard and playing a very tough, physical match. Our girls held their own beautifully, staying composed and showing incredible resilience and sportsmanship from start to finish.
Francesca and Quinn each scored beautiful goals, showcasing great teamwork and determination. Lucy played nearly the entire game at midfield, covering every inch of the field with her trademark intensity. Quinn was her usual unstoppable self—running hard, playing both ends of the field, and keeping the team’s momentum alive. Caitlin started as striker but selflessly shifted to defense when it became clear how strong Hamden Hall’s offense would be. Francesca also contributed key passes in midfield that set up several strong plays.
Emily had her best game of the season, stepping up when it mattered most and truly saving us with clutch stops and calm under pressure. Every player—Emily, Aggie, Lily, Francesca, Quinn, Dia, Mia, Charlie, Emmy, Simone, Vivian, Maria, Lucy, Caitlin, Emma, and Norah—played an important role in earning this hard-fought win.
