Boys' Varsity B Lose to Hamden Hall 24-20

Coach Burdge
The Varsity B Boys lost a close game to Hamden Hall 24-20. Our defense was the strongest part of our game today, as we were able to force a lot of steals and prevented Hamden Hall from getting good looks. We were also aggressive on the boards against a big team. Will and Henrik led with 6 points each, followed by Charlie O. (4 points), and Keve and Luke (2 points each). It was a tight game at the half, and we went on a few scoring runs in the 3rd quarter, giving us momentum towards the end of the game. Two big shots by Hamden Hall in the last minute put them ahead, and we fell just short of a comeback. We played really well, and while we missed some shots towards the end, there are a lot of positive things to build on. We have a quick turnaround, with another game against Hamden Hall on Tuesday, 1/31.
