Varsity B Boys Basketball loses to IDS 17-16.

Coach Burdge
In our first game of the season, the Varsity B Boys lost a close game to IDS, 17-16. This game was marked by great, smart defense, which helped to keep us in the game. On offense, we got contributions from a variety of players, with Will (5 points), Connor (4), Gabe (3), Nolan and Henrik (2 each) getting on the board. With the score close towards the end, we did a great job pressuring IDS and getting opportunities to score. While our final shot was just off the mark, our toughness made for a really exciting finish in the last few minutes. There is little more we could ask for in our first game, and we have a lot of positive things to build on in practice and in our game next Tuesday (1/17) at Foote.
