Girls' Soccer Last-Second Win vs Foote!

It all started with Coach Balogh’s “No Singing on the Bus” and ended with “You might want to take an Epsom salt bath tonight.” From start to finish, the girls’ game against Foote was truly one filled with cheers, grit, elbows, trips, and undoubtedly, excitement!
Emily Antman delivered an outstanding performance in goal, making several key saves and holding Foote’s aggressive attack to just two goals before halftime. Defenders Maria, Sadie, Charlotte, and Emma played pivotal roles in keeping the pressure off the TCS goal with strong defensive efforts.
On the offensive end, Mila got TCS on the scoreboard, finding the back of the net on her way to an impressive hat trick. Dia followed with some fancy footwork of her own, maneuvering past defenders to add another goal for TCS.
In the second half, Mila scored again, followed by Greta, but Foote answered with two more goals of their own, leaving the two teams locked up 4-4 with a minute left in the game.

With 50 seconds left, Mila weaved her way around Foote’s defense, found a small opening, and let one go from 20 yards out. The ball hugged the top of the goal, just out of reach of the outstretched arms of Foote’s goalie, and landed in the back of the net. TCS won, 5-4.

Our next game is a coed game on Tuesday, 11/3, against IDS.
