TCS Coed B Soccer Update – Away Game at Pine Point

After an energetic (and sometimes loud!) bus ride to Pine Point, our 5–7 grade coed team hit the field ready to play. They didn’t just show up—they showed off some serious teamwork for a group that had never played together before!

Will kicked things off with a clutch first-half goal on a penalty kick, setting the tone early. In the second half, Sam broke free on a beautiful breakaway for our second goal—and kept the pressure on with several more great attempts and his best crosses of the season.

Oliver took over in goal after halftime and rose to the challenge, clearly inspired by Sam’s strong goalkeeping in the first half. He made some confident saves and showed great focus, helping the team hold their lead and finish strong.

On defense, Luke and Kyle were absolute standouts—calm, composed, and relentless when it mattered most. Sadie was an amazing defender, reading plays beautifully and stepping up with key stops all game long. Christian and Matthias worked hard to support the back line and transition the ball forward, helping to set up several key plays. Maria was everywhere—holding down defense one moment and charging up the midfield the next—showing impressive skill, vision, and hustle.

Emma brought her trademark energy to every play, delivering some sharp passes upfield and even taking her first shot on goal of the season! Charlotte kept spirits high with her enthusiasm and hustle all game long, while Óscar’s determination and positive attitude lifted the whole team. And Aggie—unfazed by the wild weather—turned in one of her strongest performances yet, proving once again that she really does play even better in tough conditions!

At the end of the day, the score didn’t even matter. What mattered most was how hard they played, how much fun they had, and how much better they’ve all become. Every player brought heart, teamwork, and an awesome attitude. It’s been so fun to watch this group grow and gel over the season. We can’t wait for our final matchup next Tuesday when our coed 6–8 graders take the field. Go TCS!
