Tennis Competition Team wins match against Hamden Hall

Coach Johnson
The biggest test of the young season came this week on Tuesday 4/25 at home against Hamden Hall. Without two of our more experienced singles players available, many had to step up and did. Luke played number one singles, and after getting down to a quick 2-5 deficit, adjusted his strategy, won key points and came out on top 8-6. Jake and Claire at the two and three spot won 8-4 and 8-2, and Elizabeth almost completed a great comeback, falling just short at 6-8. In a key match, Oakley and Mia won 8-6. Laila and Lucy (3-8) and Emma and Maybe (6-8) fell just short in their matches but came out with a list of goals to work on in upcoming practices. Overall TCS prevailed 4-3.
