Undefeated Season!
The Owls Ultimate team finished the season at home versus Aces of Waterbury on the nicest day for Disc throwing this season. Fittingly, it was another fantastic performance to finish the season undefeated, with a record of 9-0.
The final was 15-5, with the game wrapping up with three straight scores by Luca, then two by Natalie and ending with a Liam to Emma beauty to conclude the game and season. 10 different goal scorers and 8 different assist-makers, led by Luca, who had 4 assists and three goals to lead the way in both categories. Nat, Emma and Liam crossed the blue line twice apiece and Milo and Henry followed Luca closely in the assist tallies with 3 apiece.
It was a year filled with so many highlights and it will live in the memory of these athletes and coaches for ever!
Until next year- stay Chilly, work on being an Airbender (handler), and the coaches need more athletes to make bids and layouts next year! If you can only throw on one side, you have almost a year to work on getting forehand and backhand closer to equally competent.
