"A scrappy performance against a much bigger team."

The JV Boys Basketball team lost to Hamden Hall 36-12. This was a scrappy performance against a much bigger team. Our players were not afraid to be physical and stay aggressive from start to finish. We got out to an early lead, and while Hamden Hall went on a big scoring run in the 3rd quarter, we finished the game strong with 6 points in the 4th quarter. Every player was tough on the boards, and we pulled down a lot of rebounds. Keve, Will Pappas, and Ryan especially did great at boxing out and grabbing rebounds. We also got points from Jacob, Will Pappas, Connor and Gabe. It was an exciting finish, as our scoring run in the 4th quarter helped us end the game on a positive note. The team should be really proud of how hard they fought and of the fact that they never gave in. We can use this positive momentum for a good stretch of practices next week.
