Lego WeDo Robotics Camp

We know how important it is to encourage young learners to explore the STEM fields, and we are excited to offer a fun and educational opportunity to do just that while designing solutions to real world problems using familiar materials, coding and robotics. Participants will discuss ways robots could help to tackle real world problems such as ocean pollution, access to clean water or space exploration and think about ways that robots could help explore underground, underwater or into deep space. Using Lego bricks, Lego WeDo programming, tablets and computers, students will build and program robots to complete real-world tasks and challenges and will gain hands-on programming experience while learning how to combine motors, sensors, gears, pulleys, and levers to build useful, interactive and creative robots. Students will have opportunities to create short videos to share how their robots work.
