Commitment to each student is the hallmark of The Country School. Our culture, with its emphasis on personal relationships, and a student/faculty ratio of 6:1 allow teachers and students to know each other well. Teachers work closely with students, acting as educators, coaches, directors, advisors, mentors, and friends.
A feeling of family grows as students, teachers, and parents share school activities and develop strong bonds over the years. When a child graduates from The Country School, he or she has the academic foundation, confidence, and desire to excel in high school and beyond. Indeed, our graduates frequently cite their years at The Country School as the most formative educational experience of their lives.
My teachers gave so much of themselves to me throughout my time at TCS, inspiring me to be the best that I could be. They taught me such incredible lessons that I will take with me forever. I see myself teaching in the future, and if I could be half the teacher that they were, I could change the world.
