A Competitive Boys' Varsity Basketball Game vs Pine Point School

Boys' Varsity Basketball traveled to Pine Point Thursday afternoon. The game was as competitive as the first time the two teams met at the beginning of the season. Both teams played a fast paced offensive game that was exciting to watch. The Country School was down 16-31 at the half, but outscored Pine Point in the 3rd quarter 13 to 5. Pine Point picked up their defense in the 4th quarter and limited Country to only 4 points.

Coaches were extremely pleased with the way our team shared the basketball and 9 players on our roster scored. Our high scorer was Chris Y. with 7 points. Other scoring contributions were from Sam D. with 6 points, Cade R. with 5 points, Henry O. and Andrew H. each had 4 points, Liam B., Harrison H., Braden R. had 2 points, and Jack M. had 1 point. Coaches were also extremely impressed with our hard defense, especially in the 3rd quarter.

TCS Boys Varsity now has a 2-3 record. We travel to Foote on Monday to play their JV A team and then a rematch against St. John's of Old Saybrook on Wednesday at TCS.
