"It was another hard fought victory for the boys in blue."

Coach Wainio
The Boys’ Varsity Soccer team traveled to Stonington to face Pine Point.  The game got off to a quick start with Sam ‘22 finding Harrison ‘22 with a perfectly timed through ball.  Harrison ‘22 calmly slotted the ball into the opposition net for a 1-0 lead.  Sam ‘22 continued to work his magic.  This time he wove through several defenders before cracking a shot past the keeper, making the score 2-0. Sam ‘22 continued to be a sharp distributor of the ball.  This time he fed Gabe ‘22 who then laced a shot into the back of the net.  As the first half continued on, both Milo ‘22 and Blake ‘22 added two more goals.  The score was 5-0 at the halfway point.  Pine Point stiffened their defense and kept the Owls off the board in the second half.  Braden ‘23 had a great game in goal for TCS and only allowed one Pine Point goal in the second half.  It was another hard fought victory for the boys in blue.  Thank you to all the players and parents who traveled with us to see the game, and thank you to Coach Behr for driving!
