What is the Endowment?
Endowment funds are similar to savings accounts that generate income from the investment of the principal. For example, a gift to the MacLane Fund for Scholarship is placed in the endowment, allowing it to grow and produce more income. While the principal is not touched, an annual distribution from the earnings supports the school. A gift to the endowment is not a gift to the annual fund, but many families choose to support both.

Endowment Fund
Endowment funds are similar to savings accounts that generate income from the investment of the principal. When a gift is made to the General Endowment Fund, Founders' Promise Endowment Fund or MacLane Endowment Fund the gift is invested, allowed to grow, and to produce income. At The Country School, all monies and interest earned through endowment are earmarked for scholarship.
STEAM Fund
During the spring 2012 Farmhouse Reserve/Full STEAM Ahead Celebration, funds were raised to advance Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (or STEAM) at The Country School. We welcome gifts earmarked for this signature program, which will help prepare our students for life and careers in the 21st Century.
Children's Garden Fund
Outdoor Education Fund
The Country School welcomes gifts to particular aspects of our program, and in recent years we have been pleased to receive generous donations earmarked for Outdoor Education, another longstanding Country School signature program. These donations help ensure that we continue to deliver the kind of unforgettable, life-changing outdoor experiences that our alumni prize.

Gifts of Time and Expertise
Each year, volunteers give thousands of hours of time and expertise to our community, invaluable resources as we attempt to offer the best education possible to our students.
We thank all our donors, volunteers, and supporters!
