The Country School practices many proud traditions including participation in the Annual Fund.
The Country School depends on the Annual Fund to keep tuition increases as low as possible.
Families who choose The Country provide a tremendous gift for their children – a gift that far exceeds the value of their tuition dollars. As at other private schools, tuition covers only a portion of our school’s operating costs ─ approximately 85 percent. This difference is called The Gap. The Annual Fund closes that critical gap, so that every student receives more than $2000 support from the Annual Fund each year—this is not scholarship money but rather money that is needed to meet expenses and is obtained through the generosity of many donors.
The Country School depends on a successful Annual Fund to help make up the difference between tuition and the full cost of educating a child. This year, The Gap between tuition and the cost of a Country School education is $2,180. This means that The Country School must receive $2,180 in gifts for every child enrolled during the 2020-2021 school year.
To help close The Gap, The Country School must raise $350,000 through the 2020-2021 Annual Fund. All gifts, no matter the size, make an impact and make a statement that our families believe in the mission of our school.
Projected Revenue to Meet $5.16 Million in Expenses
