Minds in Motion NEEDS YOU!

An event like Minds in Motion requires some extra hands-on volunteers leading up to the event, the day before the event, and the day of the event.

We need some parents

  • leading up to the event to drop off water to the Farmhouse
  • the day before the event to help set up the gym, stuff folders, and/or hang signs
  • the day of the event to make sure folks get to the right locations on our campus

If you are able to help, please use this link to sign up. We are grateful for any support we can get, even if it's for a few hours or a case of water.

Interested in volunteering for an evening of fun and community service?

We'd love to have you join us to to prepare, serve, and clean up during family night at the Community Dining Room in Branford. Parents and students in 1st Grade and up can take part in this Country School tradition—we've been at it for 14 years! It's the 3rd Tuesday of every month. Contact Suzanne Sliker or Stephanie Johnson if you'd like to get on the list to help.

Our next service is October 17th.

Box Tops for Education

Each year we participate in the Box Tops for Education Program. Families are asked to clip and collect Box Tops from participating products and The Country School receives a check for our submission. In the past this effort has raised just under $1000 per year for our school. For more information and participating products go to www.boxtops4education.com

Ready, Set, Start Clipping and Collecting!

Once again we will host our year-long box top collecting competition between the BLUE and GOLD Teams. On your box top submission, indicate BLUE or GOLD and it will be counted toward your team's score. Our first submission will be made on November 1! Contest updates will be reported in The Hoot and also on a scoreboard in the dining room. The winning team is announced at Field Day in June.
