Step 3: Schedule a Student Visit

Applicants for PreSchool, PreKindergarten and Kindergarten spend 90 minutes interacting with peers and teachers. Students applying to 1st through 8th Grade stay for a full school day in their current grade and are interviewed by a member of the Educational Leadership Team.

Step 4: Additional Application Requirements

Applicants for Grades 6-8 are asked take the Middle Level SSAT, ISEE, or an in-house assessment.

The SSAT is offered at The Country School on:

  • 11/11/17
  • 12/9/17
  • 1/6/18

The ISEE is offered at The Country School on:

  • 1/27/18

An in-house assessment can be scheduled through the admission office.

*Students seeking notification by March 1, 2018 must submit their scores to The Country School by February 1, 2018.

Step 5: Admission Decisions

The Admission Committee notifies Middle School students by March 1 and PreSchool through 5th Grade by March 10.
