During the past few weeks, each time she has introduced a group of students before their grade's Lois MacLane Poetry Recitation, Head of School Laurie Bottiger has delivered the same message. She has pointed to the fact that the recitation is the school's longest-standing tradition; she has told students that they can do whatever they set their minds to; and she has thanked them for the gift they are about to give their audience.
