News Briefs

Fore! Join us June 1 at Pine Orchard!
Thank goodness for Pine Orchard tennis pro Mike McManus, who straightens out our own Steph Johnson (filmed here with her caddy, Joanne Arrandale).

Join us on the links (or the tennis court or in the dining room) on June 1 for The Country School Golf and Tennis Classic for Scholarship. Being held this year at the beautiful Pine Orchard Yacht and Country Club, the day features something for everyone. You don’t have to be a scratch golfer or a tennis ace – you can just join us for the auction, drinks, and dinner. For more details and to register for golf, tennis, and/or dinner, go to www.thecountryschool.org/golfclassic. What a great way to enjoy friends and a beautiful setting while also helping provide others an education that lasts a lifetime.

Outdoor Education - A Hallmark of The Country School Experience
Last week, 4th Graders experienced their "Tent In," an outdoor sleepover on campus, and this week 5th Graders went to Deer Lake for their overnight. Next week, the 8th Graders depart for their Utah adventure, and the week after, 6th and 7th Graders have their overnights (High Banks in Kent for 6th and Camp Hazen in Chester for 7th). Here are a few photos from the 4th and 5th Grades. More on TCS Facebook.
