Our Own Beth Coyne is Person of the Week
She may be the "Belle of the Ball," but she's also The Country School's belle (or one of them, anyway)! Read about Beth Coyne, co-chair of the Scranton Library's Winter Wonder Ball, in The Source, where she's this week's Person of the Week. Click here to read the article.
And here is an excerpt (its content is not likely to surprise anyone here): "I think education is exciting, and I think all the changes we're seeing in education we're seeing in libraries too," she points out. "A lot of people will say, 'Do we really need books? Let's push technology,' but kids really need a combination of both. I think a big part of what good libraries like Scranton offer is education."
