Students Quadruple Fundraising Goal
When they planned TCS Rides for Cancer, 7th Graders set a fund-raising goal of $1,000 to benefit the Smilow Cancer Hospital. When all was said and done, they had quadrupled their goal, raising $4,000 for cancer research.

Moon Quest: STEAM in Action
In early February, 3rd Graders embarked on a multi-faced study of the moon, a project that incorporated science, technology, engineering, art, music, poetry, and more.

A team of Country School students and their teacher will head to Hartford on May 2 to address the state Legislature about how they use technology to support learning.

Students in PreSchool through Grade 4 are celebrating Theme Days this week, a special TCS tradition designed to allow younger students to participate in hands-on activities specifically focused on a designated theme.Read more

A Letter from a Student
For my Bat Mitzvah project I am doing a project on childhood hunger in America. I will be helping an organization called "Share our Strengths". There will be a bake sale on Friday after school in the courtyard, and people are welcome to bring in baked goods to help the cause.

Secondary School Fair - April 26
Explore your high school options at the 10th Annual Secondary School Fair. Representatives from than 20 schools from Connecticut and surrounding areas will be at TCS on Thursday, April 26 at 6 p.m. for the Secondary School Fair. Spring Tour and Explore Days
The Office of Admission will be hosting Spring Tour and Explore days Wednesdays and Fridays through the month of May (May 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18 ,23, 25, 30). On Thursday, May 17, come and meet Albert Einstein and some of the other historical and/or notable figures who will be at our 3rd Grade Biography fair. Questions? Eighth Grade Science IRP Symposium - May 9, 8:30 a.m.
Join us in the DeFrancis Gymnasium for a display of 8th Grade science projects and presentations. Always a highlight of the year, our young scientists are sure to wow you with their insights and expertise, not to mention their abilities in presenting the work that they have done. Alum Writes About the Prince of Wales
Sam Dangremond '01 reports on a dinner with His Royal Highness Prince of Wales in the May issue of Town & Country. Sam, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, has also worked for New York Magazine.
