His time of 7:39 broke the old record by 15 seconds. Read More.

From Coach Wallack

Congratulations to the Girls' Varsity Soccer team on an outstanding season – undefeated after their 5-4 win over Ezra. The girls finished up with a 6-0 record. Be sure to stop by the DeFrancis Gym entranceway where we post the Woman of the Match each week. While highlighting some players, we all know victory isn't possible without a whole team coming together and contributing! Earning the honors last week was 7th Grader Kyra M. who matched up against a player twice her size and saved us many times!

I really enjoyed all the players so much from our 5th Graders right through to our leaders in 8th Grade. This group was tremendously opportunistic, played with feistiness and determination, and gave 100% each game.

AND A PLEA TO ALL SOCCER PLAYERS, PLEASE RETURN YOUR UNIFORMS BY TUESDAY!

Continuing to Reap the Gifts of the Auction

Eighth-Grader Alex S. served as Head of School last Friday. His duties included calling for a dress down day; running All School Meeting; convening with John Fixx, Karen Cunningham, Ted Tolis, Town Engineer Mike Ott, and LaRosa Construction Group; and assisting David Beecher in Development and Pam Glasser in the Admission Office. Always a big hit, serving as Head of School for the day is a perennial auction favorite.
